“40,000 Years Man” is the credo of the original history museum MAMUZ, which is being repeatedly and extensively refurbished at its two locations. In MAMUZ Schloss Asparn/Zaya, the entire wealth of prehistory and early history can be seen on the basis of original and historic residential and commercial buildings. The Museum Mistelbach presents the highlights of these eras in annually changing exhibitions.

- MAYA: The exhibition “MAYA” in the MAMUZ Museum Mistelbach takes an in-depth look at the mayan living environment in both the tropical lowlands and the volcanic highlands of Guatemala. Exhibition runs from 13 February- 21 November 2021
- Gods & Rituals of the MAYA: The special exhibtion is dedicated to the religion and cosmology of the Maya. Exhibition runs from 13 February – 21 November 2021
