The World of Wine. World class architecture in the beautiful vineyards of Langenlois: where modern architecture by Steven Holl meets tradition, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The LOISIUM has established itself as a centre for wine and culture in Lower Austria. In our 1.5 km long labyrinthine cellar (up to 900 years old), you will learn how the grape becomes wine at a total of 18 artistically and playfully designed stations; looking at how the weather, moon and soil affect the wine, and much more.

LOISIUM VINOTHEK (Wine Bar)
The LOISIUM Wine Bar includes a selection of over 200 wines from the eight Lower Austrian wine-growing regions. Over 50 wines are available as an open assortment for tasting. The main focus, of course, is placed on THE prime Austrian grape variety: Grüner Veltliner. LOISIUM SEKTOTHEK (Sparkling Wine Bar)
Austria’s first Sparkling Wine Bar has been winning over customers since its beginnings in 2010 by offering a unique selection of 30 different vintners’ sparkling wines, also offered at reasonable producers’ prices. All sparkling wines have been produced according to a traditional bottle fermentation method. The LOISIUM WeinGartenLounge with its atmospheric view invites you to linger over coffee and cake or regional culinary delicacies. A playground nestled in the middle of the vineyards awaits our youngest guests.
