Highlights
FEEL HISTORY – EXPERIENCE TRADITION
Feel History, Experience Tradition
The castle consists of wonderfully maintained stately and majestic living quarters which can be visited. There you can find an extensive collection of weapons and equipment from the 15th to the 18th century, in addition to a Falconry Museum. The castle complex is surrounded by an impressive tournament courtyard and adjoining pleasure and promenade gardens, which give an excellent insight into the garden architecture of the Renaissance era. As one of the few Renaissance castles, Rosenburg still has a fully operational Renaissance Falconry Courtyard which is part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. This tradition can be experienced first-hand at Rosenburg. As part of the Bird of Prey Demonstrations, and the rarely shown Falconry on Horseback, the ancient art of falconry is brought closer to the visitors.
